Duane leads Aptara’s STM and Trade Publishing Services division and leverages nearly three decades of Operations and Sales experience in data conversion, content creation, and SaaS-based solutions. When not at work, he enjoys traveling and living near the shore in Virginia with his family.

When not at work, he enjoys spending time outdoors in Southern California, where he lives with his family.

It was at QBS that she pioneered the use of global image and text service contracts with major educational publishers.

Ashish oversees client relations for Aptara’s U.S. Customer Relationship Management (CRM) clients. He has more than 25 years of executive-level experience in business development, customer support, and corporate training. Before Aptara, Ashish held senior positions in the media, publishing, and retail sectors, overseeing public and press relations as well as internal communications. He has also worked in corporate advertising and product placement. Ashish holds a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in business from the University of Delhi. In his free time, he enjoys trekking, water skiing, and theater. He lives in Plano, Texas, with his family.

Tom has spent most of the last three decades working in the STM space of scholarly publishing. From copyediting and production editor supervision positions to project and account management, he stays up to date on publishing trends and has handled upward of 30 clients at a time. Very well known in the industry, he has served lengthy terms on several committees for SSP—the leading organization in the industry—including three terms as the Co-chair of one of them. Tom is based in New York’s Hudson Valley and has been with Aptara since 2010. When not working, Tom travels extensively throughout the United States, having visited all 50 states twice, most of its National Parks, and so forth.

Miriam Altman is a seasoned attorney with 25 years of experience advising on complex commercial and technology agreements, vendor contracts, and real estate and construction deals in industries like financial services, biotech, and telecom/engineering. Her extensive understanding of commercial transactions allows her to provide counsel to all levels of management while balancing legal risks and business needs. Miriam gained a global legal perspective from working overseas in Australia, Germany, Israel, and Jordan. She holds a Juris Doctor Degree and a Master of Arts in Law and International Affairs from American University’s Washington College of Law. In her spare time, Miriam enjoys traveling and has visited over 50 countries around the world.
